Services & BECOMING A sPONSOR



The Our Town Welcome Circle has four separate componets.  The first three are the welcome letter/new mover survey, the personalized & trackable gift certificates & the optional local community magnet.  These are for the new family so they can begin to learn about their new community as well as provide feedback about their experiences with these businesses. 

The fourth component is for the business owner & gift sponsor; the time savings and new revenue coming in from gaining these new households as long term customers.

Throughout our 37 years of helping local businesses in this manner, we have found that it generally takes only 1 or 2 new customers a month for this marketing effort to successful.

  • Welcome Letter & New Mover Survey


    Upon opening the package, the first thing your new neighbor sees is our Welcome Letter personally signed by us.  This letter gives a brief explanation of why they have received these gifts. It puts the focus on the new mover and their special needs and sets the stage for what they'll see next.  Remember, they need to find a new provider for virtually as aspects of the families' lives.  This is their introduction to your business.

    On the back of this page is the new mover survey opportunity.  This is their chance to let us (and you) know how they enjoyed the experience of your business.  Many business owners find this to be one of the most valuable features of the Our Town service. 

  • Welcoming Gift Certificates


    Our gift gertificate package & format invites these searching families to visit your business.  The gift offers are custom designed for your business & project a professional image with map to your location if needed.  Each certificate is personalized to that specific family and is produced on rich parchment paper with gold metallic ink.  Each certificate carries an "Authorized By" so they can feel welcomed personally by you, the business owner.   And finally, each certificate has a trackable bar code that is tied to each household so you can monitor the program's effectivness.     

  • The Community Magnet

    Our Town offers an optional community magnet in our package.  This large, refrigerator magnet compliments your gift certificate by acting as the second tier of a powerful marketing strategy.  Since the refrigerator is visited many times throughout the day, our magnet brings attention to your business again and again.

    Your redeemable gift certificate prompts that all-important first visit.  The magnet continues to promote repeat business for your business for months and years to come.
